The popular 30-metre from Arcadia Yachts has been reinvented by Hot Lab

The first in a series of design collaborations between Arcadia Yachts and the design team at Hot Lab has seen the Milan-based designers reimagine the Arcadia 100 as the Arcadia A100+. Arcadia’s signatures – the full-height windows, extensive solar panels and an eco approach to yachting – are still there, while the new design increases the living area for guests with a larger upper deck and foredeck area. The aft deck can comfortably seat up to ten guests for formal dining, with space for a further 12 guests in the lounge area.

Hot Lab has created five different interior layout options, which will simplify design choices and reduce development time. The interior theme is a contemporary minimalist décor that  matches the exterior styling. “We will respect the masculine lines, clean and multifaceted, that represent the familiar image of the yard; we will reinterpret them to further develop the on-board living spaces, both inside and out, that represent the quintessence of each Arcadia yacht,” says Hot Lab’s Antonio Romano.

“We are convinced that the success of any yard is connected to the experience that the owner has, from the moment that they begin to think about a new yacht to when they decide to sell it to buy another. Here the role of the design studio in the early phase of design plays a fundamental role in creating a solid and trustworthy relationship between the yard and the owner. We therefore went to the best professionals in yacht design who not only are technically prepared, but also have an extraordinary ability to listen. Only when we could completely identify ourselves with the owners could we really understand the nuances of the client’s needs and imagine designing the details that make the difference when creating a successful semi-custom project,” says Ugo Pellegrino, Arcadia’s administrator.
