Croatia presents first mega yacht marina

Croatia’s first mega yacht marina has opened in time for the summer season.

With 79 berths, the mega yacht marina can cater for yachts up to 140 metres in length. The marina also offers potable water and electricity, telephone connectivity at in-water slips, wi-fi acess, restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, a restaurant and a grocery store, among other facilities.

Based in Mandalina Marina & Yacht Club, the marina is located deep in Sibenik bay close to the open sea. Sibenik is famous for its summer events and cultural attractions including the prominent Cathedral protected by UNESCO.

It’s set to become the region’s premier gateway for mega yachts, after recent modifications to the marina mean it offers convenient access to more than 1200 scenic islands on the Adriatic.

Situated in the scenic town, the marina is nestled between two national parks in the most beautiful of Croatia’s cruising ground.

The sea depth by the coastline is suitable for yachts with a maximum draft of up to six metres, while the depth by the concrete floating pontoons is deeper than 15 metres.
