Superyacht owners visiting the Eastern Mediterranean should see an increase in options after D-Marin Marinas entered into partnership agreements to run Flisvos Marina in Athens, Zea Marina in Pireaus Harbour, Gouvia Marina in Corfu, and Lefkas Marina. D-Marin has signed a deal with MedMarinas to acquire a 51% stake in Gouvia, Lefkas and Zea Marinas, and agreed a 50-50 partnership deal with Lamda Development for Flisvos Marina. It has also entered into a second agreement in Greece with Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping, which offers charter services in 28 locations across Turkey, Croatia, Italy, France, Malta and the Caribbean.

The deals bring D-Marin’s capacity across the Eastern Mediterranean to almost 9,000 berths, making it the owner of the largest international chain of marinas in the region. “We are very proud to be spreading D-Marin’s quality and standards across the Eastern Mediterranean basin and Adriatic,” says Hüsnü Akhan, CEO of D-Marin’s parent the Dogus Group.



He also confirmed that the company will begin constructing D-Marin Dalaman, which can take yachts up to 60 metres, this year. “Located only ten minutes from the airport, our marina offers yacht owners the comfort of accessing their yachts soon after getting off the plane,” he says.
