The 77.4-metre explorer yacht is offered for sale by Fraser and IYC

The 77.4-metre Legend has joined IYC’s and Fraser Yachts’ sales fleet at an asking price of €46.5 million. The yacht emerged from a 2015 reconfiguration at Icon Yachts, during which 3.6 metres were added to the LOA, allowing for an extended swim platform and a 16-person hot-tub that boasts its own waterfall. Key guest spaces include a 14-seat cinema and a Balinese spa with a sauna and beauty salon.

Legend

Legend was originally launched as an icebreaker in 1974. “Legend’s incredibly stable steel Class I Icebreaker hull and balanced design make her the best-suited and most comfortable yacht for global exploration on the market today,” says IYC. “Legend’s experienced owner has spared no expense in ensuring she is the ultimate platform to see the world from.”

Legend

With a 7,640-nautical-mile range, it’s no surprise that Legend has already cruised to Antarctica and South America. Tools for the adventurer include a commercial helideck, a submarine and two snowmobiles. The extensive collection of toys and tenders include snow scooters and scuba equipment.

Legend

The interior is by Diana Yacht Design, and Legend has room for 26 guests in 13 cabins, including an extensive owner’s suite on a private deck, two VIPs, five doubles and five twins. A standard crew of 19 can be increased by an extra ten exploration crew. Features on board include a self-playing grand piano in the piano bar lounge, as well as a whisky and cigar lounge, while outside deck spaces are designed as flexible, sociable spaces.
